The A2R team invites you to discover Pauline’s universe through her interview.
1-Is your photographic gaze inspired by particular references?
I appreciate the work of Jacques Villeglé, I get closer to his universe with my photos of torn posters. But the environment remains my main inspiration, it is an inexhaustible source of surprises, of poetry. A common object, like the hood of a car, suddenly becomes an artistic object. I particularly like the urban environment, with its graffiti, its characters, its posters.
2-How do you envision your work, do you have specific goals when you go out to do photography, or do you prefer to let your gaze wander randomly over the objects encountered?
It’s true that photography has always been an essential element when I travel.
But, now, it is above all to transform the everyday environment, hence the “reflections”, the superimpositions… the silhouettes in the rain, in the snow. I take pictures daily (I took some this evening, for example). When I get home, I can’t wait to see the results, it’s becoming vital!
A day without photos is an empty day.

3-Do you have specific projects, upcoming exhibitions, artistic collaborations?
I currently have an exhibition in Montana, a café in Montreuil. I also have an opportunity to exhibit at 116 rue de Paris.
